Discover the most artisanal side of Malaga, a journey back in time through the ancient suburb where potters and glassmakers forged the identity of the city.
The art of glass and the history of a neighborhood with character
We depart from the cruise terminal towards the neighborhood of La Goleta, an area with a deep commercial tradition. We explore the suburb of La Fontanella, discovering its past as the cradle of craftsmen of clay and glass.
Our next stop is the Glass and Glass Museum, a hidden gem in an 18th century house. Here, we immerse ourselves in the evolution of glass in art and everyday life. The experience is enriched with a visit to a glass workshop, where we will learn the techniques and secrets of this ancient craft.
To finish, we taste Malaga products in the museum, with a tasting of local wine and artisanal specialties before strolling through the Plaza de San Felipe Neri and discovering the hidden history of the neighborhood.
