Tarragona

Explore Tarragona's impressive Roman heritage, where ancient ruins such as the amphitheater and aqueduct blend with the allure of the Mediterranean coastline, creating a captivating atmosphere that takes you back in time while enjoying the modern day.

Céret, just 12 km from the Spanish border, is famous for being the birthplace of Cubism and the “cherry capital”. This charming medieval village is home to the Musée d'art Moderne. The visit offers modern art, a picturesque walk through vineyards and farms, and the first cherries of spring.

Aix en Provence has a privileged climate, and dazzles with its elegance in its lively streets and squares. We will stroll through the historic center with its seventeenth- and eighteenth-century buildings, squares with fountains, bookstores, stores and various businesses. We will visit the Town Hall, museums and large mansions now housing the University and research centers.

A few miles away from Saint Tropez, Port Grimaud, designed by François Spoerry, combines the charm of a Mediterranean fishing village with the luxury of a modern housing complex. Travel along its canals on barges, among pastel-colored houses and bridges. Next, you can explore the picturesque mountain village of Grimaud, with its winding lanes and local crafts, culminating in its remarkable monumental fountain.

Ajaccio, the capital of Corsica, is a port city on the west coast of the island. This is where Napoleon Bonaparte was born in 1769. Visit the Maison Bonaparte, now a museum with family memorabilia, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral, a 16th century baroque building home to works by Delacroix and Tintoretto.

Let me show you the secrets to making one of the most notable cheeses of the Balearic Islands. At the Finca Subaida in Mahón you will learn about Mahonés cheese (POD), a highlight of Balearic gastronomy. You can also enjoy local cheese, cured meats and wine on their fantastic terrace. If you are a lover of good food and are looking for a gourmet experience, don't miss this delicious visit.

On the Isla del Rey, nestling in the middle of the wonderful natural harbor of Mahón, the Swiss gallery Hauser & Wirth Menorca fuses early Christian culture with contemporary art pieces. Enjoy wandering through the eight galleries and the outdoor sculpture tour, and enjoy the local plants in the wonderful gardens. Once you have quenched your cultural thirst, it is time to satiate your appetite at the Cantina restaurant, specializing in local products.
